Tips from the Pros - Jonny Moseley : "Flow"
2. Step On It
Photo: Keri Bascetta

The backside of a mogul is steep—35 to 38 degrees maybe. If you don’t step onto it immediately after you come up over the crest—if you ride even to the toe of your boots before you start to turn—by the time your feet hit the snow, you will have fallen two or three feet. The earlier you step onto the backside of a mogul with your new downhill ski, the shorter your fall will be.
