Spring is in the air, summer’s around the corner, and many resorts are already closing. But that doesn’t mean you missed all the fun! It’s not too late to check out these spring skiing fests. They combine the best of sun, snow, brews, music, and more.

When: April 4-5, 11, & 18, 2009
What: A new theme each weekend, with the last two weekends featuring family (with tons of carnival-like stuff that kids will love) and a Throw Back to the ‘80s. Live music in the Plaza comes with each serving. Check out the old school costume contest, drink specials, and an end-of-season blowout gear sale.
Why: One word: DayGlo. Also, if you wanted to work on your mogul skills this season but never quite got around to it, you’ve come to the perfect place. Winter Park and Mary Jane are famous for their mogul runs, and you can take advantage of free bumps tips from the Winter Park Ski & Ride School each weekend of Spring Blast.
