This Cottonwood Canyon icon is, quite literally, a skier’s mountain—one of only two North American resorts that still ban snowboarders. Simply put, Alta is where you come when you want to ski. Really ski. Because the snow is consistently glorious, the terrain is steep, deep and ungroomed, and your fellow skiers are just as devoted as you are. Amen.
