The mountain only has about 1,100 vertical, but that's more than enough considering you have it all to yourself. As long as the snow coverage is good and conditions are safe, you call your shots. Ours was a party of five, including Gary, our guide and Brian, our driver, who delivered us time and again to the top of pristinely groomed trails and powder-choked chutes and glades. Our group moved pretty quickly down the hill, but there was no rush to load the cat at the bottom and, even better, no liftlines or crowds. Rushing is antithetical to the Three Forks way of life; you'll figure that out pretty quickly.
