"We had gone up to Zig-Zag Glacier to shoot, and a thunderstorm rolled in. I've been shooting at Hood for three years and knew that it might break up at sunset. So we just hunkered down in the gulley in the rain and lightning on the gamble that it would. And then, all of a sudden, it did. We had a 15-minute window, so it was a mad dash to get everything set up. I used radios to get everybody into position and got a lot of good stuff. We were soaked and cold, and as soon as it was over, we got out of there as fast as we could."
