Record snowfalls favored the southwest this winter, where resorts in Arizona ended up beating some places in Colorado. Like the Arizona Snowbowl, which had 321 inches of snow this season in comparison to Winter Park, Colorado, where just 274 inches fell. Both resorts sit at almost the same base elevation (9,000 feet).
