With as many choices as there are sizes and styles of jeans, now is the best time to revamp your gear closet. The challenge lies in finding the right pair for you. Follow the same rules as when buying a pair of jeans: Would you wear your father's jeans when you could find a pair in your length and hip width? If you've always skied on a unisex model, this year may be the time to try technology designed with women in mind.

Many ski manufacturers-including K2, Volant and Völkl-work intimately with all-female test teams to find out what women really want. To help you locate the right pair, we've divided the gold medal winners into two categories: Player and All-Mountain Expert. The Players are the relaxed-fit jeans of skiing. If you're new to skiing or you've reached a plateau and want to find a ski to help you progress, then look to these skis for stability and easy carving. The All-Mountain Expert skis are the low-rider jeans: These skis spice up your wardrobe; some love to ski fast and furiously, while others love quick, energetic turns. But all of them are designed to take you anywhere you want to ski-in comfort and style-just like your favorite pair of jeans.

Check out the SkiFinder to custom select the ski that's right for you.
