4FRNT CODY (2014)
Part of 4FRNT's Signature series of rider-inspired and designed pro models, the Cody comes from the mind of pro skier Cody Barnhill. 4FRNT classifies the Cody as an all-mountain twintip. At 100 mm underfoot, it's right in the sweet spot for an advanced or expert all-mountain ski. Its modern design includes rocker and tapered tips and tails for a looser, more playful feel, and soft snow performance. Camber underfoot and a fairly tight turning radius provides the backbone for its hard and mixed-snow capabilities. It's built with a wood core and semi-cap construction. Utah-based 4FRNT was founded in 2002 by pro skier Matt Sterbenz and has been rider-owned and operated ever since. The Cody, along with many of 4FRNT's skis, is built in the Elan factory in Slovenia.
