Apache Sidewinder (2009)
Here's last year's Stryker with a new name. And what worked last year works this year. One key difference: The Sidewinder gets the same Marker MX binding as K2's Coomba, Xplorer and Recon. That includes the Duke/Jester heel, famous for a wider footprint that delivers extra edge power. It feels like more ski than the Stryker, but it's forgiving enough not to tucker you out too soon. "Performs well whether you load it hard or not," said Hogen.
