By far the narrowest in the category, the Affinity Pure earned a No. 1 in Hard Snow Grip. A step down from the Affinity Storm (see women's Mixed Snow), the Pure has a fiberglass cap construction that makes it nimble and easy, especially in bumps. It's a bit edgy for tracked-up stuff, where testers felt thrown around; accordingly, they scored it last in Crud. "Nice rebound," said Humes.
