Tester's Review
The Automatic is the new flagship of Atomic's Freeski collection. With its broad, rockered tip and tapered tail, it's a smear-ready big-mountain surfer built for feathered, skimming turns in powder. Some won't care that it's a reluctant carver on the hardpack. It needs the three-dimensional medium of powder to perform as intended (No. 4 in Flotation). Save it for special days, or move to a snowier place. "Powerful, smooth. An aircraft carrier."
