Atomic M90W (2008)
Atomic’s Tri-Tech construction separates the toe and heel lugs, allowing the sole to flex, along with the ski, in a deep carve. The M90W is designed for warmth, with a honeycombed boot board and pre-wiring that makes it easy to install a Therm-ic boot heater. Other boots were more forgiving. The M90 reacts best to aggressive input. “Just don’t look for a lot of love flowing back your way,” said Sheinberg. “It responds well to the whip, but be prepared for some tough love.”
