Atomic Panic (2013)

Atomic Panic (2013)

How wide is an everyday all-mountain ski these days? Atomic's new Vantage series starts at 87 mm and goes all the way up to 103 mm. The widest models in the series, the Ritual (103 mm) and Alibi (98 mm) get slightly more pronounced rocker in the tip and tail than the narrower models, Theory (95) and Panic (87). The Panic, which is about 70 percent rockered and intended for use on harder snow, is the entry level to the series in terms of price. It's a metal-free wood-core construction with Atomic's Step-Down sidewalls: rounded cap tip and tail for easy, forgiving flex, with vertical sidewalls underfoot for good edge bite.

PRICE (MSRP): $499.00
