Blizzard Bodacious (2012)
The news in Blizzard's free-mountain rides-other than the cool bull graphics-is Flipcore. Blizzard builds with cores that are pre-rockered, rather than forcing things. The ski "wants" to be rockered, which, they feel gives its sturdy construction a measure of playfulness. Bodacious is the fattest board in the line, designed to float and smear in powder. It's rockered at the tip and tail, with a flat spot underfoot for control on transition groomers. A sandwich, sidewall construction has titanium layers for stability and power. Sold flat.
