Blizzard Cochise (2012)
Tester's Review
Blizzard aims for a blend of resort- and sidecountry-ready versatility with the category-winning Cochise. Mission accomplished: "Versatility" was the very word testers kept returning to. In a category of mostly wider skis it lacked somewhat for flotation. But its No. 1 rankings in Hard-Snow and Quickness and No. 3 rankings for Stability and Crud attest to the fact that there's no shortage of performance integrity. "Floats well enough in fresh, and rails turns on groomers," said Mearce. Sold flat.
