Blizzard Cochise (2013)
Tester's Review
Blizzard makes a bigger ski, the 118-mm-wide Bodacious, but only powder snobs and heli guides really need more than 108, and the Cochise barely seems to mind when the powder isn't boot-top or better. There are also more forgiving skis in the Deep category. Testers warn that it's a "point-it-and-pound-it charger," that "works best with an attack attitude." But the solidity of its metal-reinforced, vertical-sidewall construction, tempered by tip and tail rocker and zero camber, will thrill the aggressive speed-loving expert in all but the tightest spots and on the hardest snow.
