Blizzard The Crush IQ Max (2012)
Tester's Review
Last year, The Crush was the no. 1 powder ski in our test. This year, it medals in our all-mountain category. That says two things: Waist widths continue to expand, and this is one versatile ski. Indeed, its wide, rockered tip skims deliciously on pow, but its burly IQ sandwich sidewall construction trenches a groomer like a ski half its size. The tip can flap when running flat at speed, so it's driven best by aggressive experts who use their edges. "For someone who wants to charge," said Gillet. Sold with binding for $1,050 or with a Slider plate, which accommodates any binding, for $800.
PRICE (MSRP): $1050.00
