Blizzard M Power FS IQ Max (2012)
The M-Power is the highest-performing model in Blizzard's Magnum line, which is designed for all-mountain, multi-condition skiing. With an 87 waist and slight tip rocker, it's built to be capable in soft stuff, but the IQ binding interface-which transfers power instantly from foot to edge-is designed to make it carve like a ski half its size. (Long gone are the days when skiers would have to compromise carvability for float-thanks in part to Blizzard's slop-free IQ system, which helped revolutionize the midfat.) An oil piston and suspension arms should reduce vibration and prepare the ski to engage earlier in the new turn. The layup? Wood core, metal layers, hard phenol sidewall. Sold with binding.
