Pro If the men liked the Titan 8, but feared it’d be too much for lighter-weight or less-aggressive skiers, wouldn’t the women be less enamored of it? You’d think. But what a difference a shorter length makes. To be sure, the female testers counted the unisex Titan among the burlier boards in the category, giving it its highest marks for Long Turns and Stability at Speed. But in the 166-cm length they tested, they were more overjoyed than overpowered, ranking it slightly higher than the men did but with otherwise almost identical scores across the board. The construction is similar to that of the Titan 9, but it’s metal-free and therefore less demanding. Chappel called the Titan 8 "a powerful, gentle giant." Con Reluctant in short turns; unwieldy in bumps.
