Tops in hard-snow grip, tops in stability at speed…the Magnum 7.6 sounds like it might be too much ski for a tentative intermediate. To be sure, it knows what to do when a skilled skier gives it the whip. And yet it also, somehow, puts up the top score in forgiveness. By a lot. Blizzard blends foam and wood for a lightweight, agreeable, category-crushing ride, but the energy transfer is still quick and accurate, so it’s ready to rip when you are. “A one-way ticket to being a better skier,” said Casey.
