Dalbello Boss (2012)
Tester's Review
Who's in charge? With the Boss, you are. Especially if you're a meaty footed, stand-up guy looking to get 'er done everywhere on the hill. Take that job and love it with 103 mm of lower boot break room and a rock-solid but adjustable flex that works the ski as hard as you do. Testers agreed it's a three-piece boot with backbone at a working man's price. "My skis followed orders, and that felt good," said John "Moose" Millslagle. Notes: Rider Development Project (RDP) boots are 3-piece "cabrio" shell construction with external tongue for long flex travel and snappy return to center and maximum shock-absorbing technologies (Landing Gear bootboard, shock absorbing heel, and boot cuff inserts on some models.
