Dynastar Cham 97 (2013)
Tester's Review
The Cham 97 blew gaping holes in the usually solid tester consensus. Detractors complained of disconnected, tip-flappy mushiness on groomers, but fans argued that that was the key to its schmeary, modern off-piste performance. Its width destroys the field in Flotation, yet it's shockingly No. 2 in Quickness. (Credit easy-pivot rocker and tip and tail tapering). Testers dinged it for poor hard-snow performance but still gave it high Overall Impression scores. "Slashy, not carvy. Loose but energetic."
PRICE (MSRP): $800.00
