Pro As with the Contact 11, versatility is the 10’s forte, with particular emphasis on Short Turns, where it tied for No. 1 in the category. Dynastar removes the metal to take the edge off the 10’s performance. That didn’t appear to diminish the ski’s tenacious grip on hard snow, though, and others in this category ranked higher for Forgiveness. Testers enjoyed its quickness and marveled at the ease with which the 10’s broad tip dives into every new turn. Rebound energy is above average, but the 10 prefers relaxed short- and medium-radius arcs with measured input from the skier. "Its charm lies in its generous tip and easy turn initiation, as well as in the smoother edge-to-edge action it delivers with the gentlest of downward pressure," said Hochman. Con Nervous at speed when not locked on edge.
