Dynastar Contact Limited (2008)
In a category laden with GS race–type models, the Contact Ltd. (an updated version of last year’s Contact 11) stood out for its slalomesque sidecut and forgiving feel. Others in the category performed more assuredly at high speeds and in long arcs, but the Ltd. was more playful and versatile. Cap construction tip and tail eases turn entries and exits, while vertical sidewalls give it strength underfoot. "Wonderfully smooth, with endless energy," said Hochman.
Best For
Finesse skiers and lighter builds.
Not For
Higher speeds, harder snow.
PRICE (MSRP): $1200.00
