Pro The Wave Magic employs a unique construction that’s new from Elan and perfect for Cruisers. By molding its reinforcing laminates into a three-dimensional wave pattern before fusing them to the core, Elan reduces the overall weight of the ski without compromising torsional strength or stiffening longitudinal flex. (Think corrugated cardboard: easy to bend, harder to twist.) It adds up to a lightweight ski with the integrity you expect of heavier constructions. Meanwhile, the Fusion binding interface is integrated into the core, enhancing quickness and grip. As part of Elan’s Magic family of women’s skis, it’s lighter, softer and forward-mounted. Short turns are its strength, said Wilde: "Lots of spunk and pop from edge-to-edge. Be ready for it." Con Grippiness makes it somewhat reluctant to skid.
