Fischer Koa 88 (2012)
Tester's Review
Fischer has its women's line dialed: light enough to be easy, yet burly enough to really stand on at high speeds. The secret is I-Beam, carbon I-shaped inserts that make the ski incredibly stable without the weight of metal laminates. Like all the Koa models we tested, the 88 is a solid ride, stable and competent in every terrain type. It's a well-rounded confidence booster, a perfect tool for someone on the verge of a breakthrough. "It makes me feel like I can do anything," said Humes.
