Fischer Watea 120 (2012)
If you're a big mountain ripper who skis in Jackson Hole and Alta, this is the ski for you. The Watea 120 is an addition to Fisher's freeski category, filling the need for a ski with tapered tip and tail and Freeski rocker (Fischer's greatest amount of rocker) mean the ski will float in the deepest conditions. Every ski in the Watea line has I-Beam construction, meaning two carbon fiber beams are milled into the wood core. This adds torsional stiffness without adding weight. It also features Fischer's Powder Hull- taking a cue from V-hulled boats that plow through choppy water, these skis feature a notch in the tip that adds extra lift in powder.
