Grace Kiwi (2013)
Grace has a simple, classic approach to making skis: full bamboo core, vertical sidewall, sandwich construction, fiberglass layers. No metal, no carbon, no frills. The Kiwi is a big-mountain powder ski, built with input from Telluride and Alaska guides. It's stiff and straight, which makes it ideal for ripping huge lines. Grace rotates the cores before they go into the press, resulting in a natural rocker pattern at the tip and tail. (It's flat camber underfoot.) It's lightweight and designed for touring, too, with a relatively modest tail rocker and horizontal flat spot on the tails for skin clips.
