The last is about as roomy as it gets (104 mm), and the flex index is a modest 80/70 (quite soft), so you might expect the Edge+ to feel loose and muffled. But a reasonably snug ankle/heel circumference and sturdy liner construction give it surprising quickness to match its comfort and warmth. Beale called it “highly underrated and capable of going anywhere on the hill.”
