Head Mojo (2007)

Head Mojo (2007)

Pro The Mojo is priced $100 below the similar S11. It gives up the levered cuff buckles, and, as with the S11, the Full Custom System is optional. Without the FCS, slim-footed testers found the interior to be too roomy, and some experienced difficulty initiating shell contact. If the Mojo feels too big in the shop, ask the bootfitter to install the FCS. Of course, for those with meaty feet who always suffer from clamped-down pain, it's an ideal choice. As with the S11, testers who limited their selections to softer snow and rough terrain had the most pleasant time. "It has energetic rebound from turn to turn," said Gleason, "and it's balanced and well-shaped." Blaylock ventured, "Park-and-pipe kids will love it. The rear is a bit soft for traditional skiing but just right for riding switch." Con Too soft for high-adventure skiing. Top Scores Entry/Exit 3.6, Adjustability 3.3, Lateral Response 3.2
