Head MYA N 6 (2013)

Head MYA N 6 (2013)
Gold Medal Gear
Tester's Review

This year, Head incorporated ERA 3.0 into its Mya line, adding a measure of rocker (good for absorbing bumps), a progressive sidecut radius (requires less angulation to initiate), and "intellifibers" (to reduce vibration in the tip). What does this mean for you? A solid, supple, confident, and energetic carver that loves to start and finish a turn. Testers gushed about its snow contact, and one noted, "It plows through the muck without even telling you about it." Notes: Mya, Head's female-specific, all-mountain line, returns this season with updated technology. Each ski in the line is now built with tip rocker, progressive sidecut in the tip for better edging, and piezoelectric intellifibers for improved dampening in the rockered section of the sk Head calls this technology Era 3.0. The Mya N 6 has a tight 11.2-meter turn radius and a narrow 79-millimeter waist. It will excel more on groomed snow. It is designed for intermediate and advanced skiers.
