Head MYA N 9 (2013)
Don't let the delicate graphics fool you. The Mya No. 9 has muscle. The widest of Head's redesigned all-mountain Mya line, it charged fearlessly into chalky, bumpy off-piste conditions. Then on hardpack, it made fleet-footed but stable turns. It requires an attentive, front-of-boot skier, but the No. 9 delivers performance for those who thrive on speed and aggression. Feel free to get after it. You'll earn your aprs. NOTES: Head's Mya line returns this season with skis built for the entire mountain. Each ski in the line is now built with tip rocker, progressive sidecut in the tip for better edging, and piezoelectric intellifibers for improved dampening in the rockered section of the sk Head calls this technology Era 3.0. With a waist width of 93 mm, the Mya 9 is the widest ski in the series, best suited to softer snow, on and off piste. It's a sturdy vertical-sidewall laminate construction with aggressive edge bite and stiffness for expert women.
