K2 A.M.P. AfterShock MX 14.0 (2012)
Tester's Review
No one can be "on" every minute of every ski day. The returning After Shock, with one of the tests largest performance envelopes, understands. Testers pronounced it to be one of most stable and relaxed rides at moderate speeds (No. 2 in Forgiveness), but found that it responded well to aggressive input on steep terrain as well. Two sheets of metal add oomph to its hybrid cap/sidewall construction. "Forgot how damn fun this ski is," said Elling. "Perfect balance for every type of high-performance all-mountain skiing."
