K2 SideKick (2012)
Tester's Review
K2 is right in line with-or partially responsible for-the sidecountry trend. "If you can walk, you can skin," the logic goes. But if you want to ride the Side- Kick, you'd best know how to ski too. It's stiff and powerful, requiring confidence and determination. If you can muscle it, it will take you anywhere: powder (no. 3), Crud (no. 3), bumps and groomers-as long as they're soft. Tip and tail notches work with K2's precut skins. "If you ask, it responds with performance," said Moscarella.
