K2 SuperSweet (2014)
The SuperSweet is the value-priced dedicated learning tool of K2's Supermodels series of frontside-oriented women's all-mountain system skis. Its Catch Free Rocker combines 80 percent camber with 20 percent tip rocker, designed to make the ski easy to pivot and turn at slow speeds for those still learning to carve. It's a simple metal-free, foam-core capped torsion-box construction - inexpensive and ultra-light. It's now available flat, but also still sold as a system with an integrated 10-DIN Marker/K2 ER3 binding. Mod Technology features an independently acting secondary core, raised above the deck, to focus power transmission where needed and reduce vibrations for better edge grip and high-speed calm. The pink ribbon on the base signifies K2's support (at least $50,000 annually) for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
