Kastle BMX118 (2012)
The first Kastle's women-specific ski gets kudos for its width (women rippers have been clamoring for years for more powder skis). It's built like the boys' Big Mountain Crosses-classic wood core, sandwich, vertical-sidewall construction, tip rise and slight camber everywhere else-but in shorter lengths that suit the smaller sex. The absence of metal should make it damp and relatively forgiving. It has dual Hollowtech-a section of the tip and tail is removed-which reduces swing weight. Sold flat.
PRICE (MSRP): $1149.00
