Kastle BMX98 (2012)
The all-new BMX98 (Big Mountain Cross) is built for Western all-mountain versatility, with a wide enough waist that should smear and surf pow, but still be manageable in everything else. It, like the rest of the line, has a classic wood core, sandwich, vertical-sidewall construction, tip rise and slight camber everywhere else. The absence of metal should make it damp and relatively forgiving. It has dual Hollowtech-a section of the tip and tail is removed-which reduces swing weight. Sold flat.
