Lange Comp 120/W (2006)

Lange Comp 120/W (2006)

While more shops are carrying the World Cup to appeal to the most hardcore of experts, the Comp series remains the more logical choice for most freeskiers. It's a friendlier ride for most applications, and it's sleeker in design. Nevertheless, the Comps bear fundamental similarities to the World Cup, including ramp, stance and heel-hold. But it comes in two volumes, low (LF) and medium (MF), both of which are roomier than the race boot. Even demanding experts will still like the quickness and agility of the 120. And in about 10 minutes, Lange's CAC liner technology takes a remarkably accurate impression of the foot and ankle for increased precision. "Easy to get on, snappy and quick," says Ross.
