Line Prophet 90 (2009)
Last year it was the Prophet 100 that stunned testers with its category-killing performance. This year its stablemate, the Prophet 90, makes it clear that while Line may indeed be the company that originally brought you silly little mini-skis, it's no joke. The twin-tipped 90 was fun and reassuring on hardpack, but it was capable in the deep stuff, too. It carves, it smears, and despite its youthful demeanor, it never talks back. "As versatile as skis get," said Larsen.
