Movement Skis Source (2013)
Swiss brand Movement ("the freeski company") makes a full line of skis that include narrow carvers all the way up to powder fatties. Evidently, the European definition of "freeski" includes carving, but the limited group of Movement freeskiing models imported to North America all lean toward the fat end of things. The Source is one of the four models from Movement's Freeski series available here. At 94 mm in the waist, it's the narrowest one, designed to be a versatile all-mountain generalist equally at home on hardpack or powder, in long turns or short ones. It has a poplar core with fiber layers above and below, as well as rubber inserts intended to damp vibrations.
