Tester's Review
A new-school design sporting three-piece shell construction, creative three-buckle closure, wild colors, and a silver tuning-fork doohickey on the spine, the Fire Arrow has been rejiggered for its sophomore year. It still has a stout flex feel, but testers welcomed the increased give and cushion on the shin. And the flatter boot board provided a more neutral stance, greater foot mobility, and bankable strength on edge in any snow conditions. "Amazingly solid connection to the ski. Seriously fun." Notes: EDT carbon fiber core bootboard enhances this hybrid three piece's power to the edge. The 45-degree middle buckle boosts heel retention and skier-centric adjustments (flex, dual cuff, rear spoiler) provide stance and flex feel allowances.
