Nordica Hell & Back Hike Exp W (2012)

Nordica Hell & Back Hike Exp W (2012)
Tester's Review

The top-shelf Hell & Back wowed our women with a responsive and natural-feeling stance, a stable flex feel, warm liner, adequate range of motion for touring and just the right amount of pink. A just-low-enough cuff made for an easy calf fit. "I was always in the right place over my skis. Perfect for sidecountry jaunts," said Eliza Allen. Notes: Hike & Ride touring mode release utilizes opened top buckle to disengage cuff for touring, 3-piece shell design with tall medial/lateral flanges on lower cabrio boot for lateral power, 45-degree buckle strap at boot throat maximizes closure in 3-buckle design, dual density Full Shock Eraser bootboard and liner elements dampen vibration and impact, adjustable progressive flex allows for two-position stiffness without affecting cuff alignment, polyurethane replaceable soles provide additional hiking grip.
