Nordica Hell&Back (2012)
Tester's Review
For harder snow applications and overall quickness, testers may have slightly preferred Nordica's Steadfast (above), but the tip-rockered Hell & Back, flagship of the Sidecountry country collection, excels in the deep stuff. It skis big and loves speed, so be prepared to send it. Nordica keeps the construction light, especially at the extremities, but the Hell skims choppy stuff with amazing ease (No. 1 in Crud). "A great soft-snow ski that'll pound through whatever's in its way," said Elling.
