Nordica Mach 3 Power (2009)
The Mach 3 returns mostly unchanged, which is fine with testers, who are increasingly impressed with Nordica's ski offerings. It has the same ice-biting vertical sidewalls and metal-reinforced wood core, but now it sports a Nordica binding (not Marker). The four-screw toepiece mount reduces slop, which explains its precision and strength. And nothing beats the Mach 3 for snappy rebound. "Quick but not nervous, stable but not boring," said Hogen.
