Nordica Nemesis (2012)
Tester's Review
The Nemesis-a perennial winner- is a damp, burly beast that feels capable not only of skiing trees, but of ripping them out of the ground. A beefy wood core with carbon laminates carves on firm groomers, while a wide girth and early-rise tip hunger for powdery couloirs. We wouldn't say it smears, though-it inhales. For such a hard charger, it's remarkably encouraging, too, giving timid experts the confidence to chuck themselves. "Made me feel tough," said Meredith Sletten.
