Nordica Olympia Drive XBS (2008)
Tip it and hang on—this ski wants to move. Even in spring’s sticky-one-minute-icy-the-next snow, the Drive performed for every tester. It holds on steeps like no other—it was No. 1 in Hard-Snow Grip—and it’s silky smooth, never hooky. Though this ski is marketed for intermediates on up, it had more than enough power for our Olympians, and proved to be one of the more solid choices in the category. Sheinberg said, "It will take you up a level, and you won’t even notice."
Best For
Intermediates to experts—it has no upper limit on ability.
Not For
Bump skiing.
