Here's widest bang for the buck among all Value winners. The Soul Rider, not surprisingly, was tops in Flotation, but it's impressively nimble, too (No. 3 in Quickness). Nordica keeps it light (no metal), and the slight-twin tail also contributes to an easygoing nature (No. 1 in Forgiveness). Almost every tester had the word "surfy" on his card. "Totally new-school," said Moffatt. "A good first-powder-ski ski."
