Nordica Speedmachine Mach 3 Xbi (2008)
Nordica takes its XBi interface, which forgives minor fore-aft balance mistakes by redistributing pressure, and buries its foundation in the metal-reinforced core of the ski, so skier energy is transmitted directly to the edge. But the Mach 3, while plenty powerful on hard snow, is never twitchy. In fact, it beat most skis in the category for Crud performance. Now that’s versatility. Said Schoff: "Stable on hardpack, cuts through crud, makes you feel like a hero."
Best For
High edge angles at top speed.
Not For
Nimble slalom arcs.
PRICE (MSRP): $1385.00
