Pro The alpha-dog tenacious Pro is made for those who know what it's like to smack plastic rods at 40 mph. We tested the boot with both spine studs in for maximum stiffness, but removing one or both makes for a friendlier ride. All buckles and ladders are screwed on (not riveted) for easy replacement. And testers loved the way the 130 wraps the foot accurately and responds obediently to skier input. The Dobie gets aces for Versatility on and off course. Virtually all testers gave it strong scores for Dynamic Comfort, a tribute to excellent out-of-the-box skiability in a boot that's really meant to be worked on. Those with wide feet were most enthusiastic. Hogen liked its foot-steering ability: "It provides great ankle articulation-a Nordica hallmark." Con Cuff is wider than others, delaying lateral response for thin-calved skiers. Top Scores Rear Support 3.8, Steering Power 3.8, Overall Impression 3.8
