One Luv (2009)
The folks at K2 might not know how to spell, but when it comes to making skis, they're geniuses. The One Luv, new last season, medaled again this year. Its beefy feel provides a predictability that lighter skis lack, yet a latent energy makes for quick turns in tight spaces. Some testers complained that the torsion-box cap construction lacked energy, but others liked it for not being jumpy. "This ski would be great for almost any level skier," said MacConnell.
